RESID OIL Heavy oil or
slurry Oil, (also known as refinery waste oil) is oil that is
too thick to economically crack or reprocess with current
technologies. At least 3% percent (and in some refineries as
high as 7%) of typical oil refinery production is Slurry Oil.
At least a billion gallons of Slurry Oil are produced In US
refineries each year. (Sun Oil Company 2005). This too has now
evolved into an environmental hazard.
MARKET
- USA REFINERY PRODUCTION
- 20,000,000 barrels
refined per day (3)
- Average 5% is Slurry Oil
= 1,000,000 per day unusable
- 1,000,000 X 365 =
365,000,000 barrels of Slurry recovered per year
- Value @ $50/barrel =
$18,250,000,000
- WORLDWIDE REFINERY
PRODUCTION
- 82,000,000 barrels
refined per day (3)
- Average 5% is Slurry Oil
= 4,100,000 per day unusable
- 4,100,000 X 365 =
1,496,500,000 barrels of Slurry recovered per year
- Value @ $50/barrel =
$74,825,000,000
GRC
TECHNOLOGY
The SLURRY OIL is
bombarded with our specific microwave frequency in the form of
“molecular vibrations” which causes the “cracking” of the
hydrocarbon chain. As a result, the hydrocarbon components in
the SLURRY OIL are gasified. The NATURAL GAS is then collected
– the remaining gases are converted into OIL.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The GRC Energy Recovery
Technology operates in a vacuum. THE RESULT - nothing is
released into the environment.
