CONTAMINATED DREDGE / SEDIMENTS
The working definition of
contaminated DREDGE / SEDIMENTS is those which contain
chemical substances at concentrations that pose a known or
suspected environmental or human health threat. The sites that
require the most urgent attention are those reservoirs of
contamination that affect regions that have the most severe
impacts on health and the environment.
MARKET
Identified on a project basis through port and harbor
authorities and through the SUPER FUND HAZARD RANKING by the
EPA. State related issues continue to delay projects
GRC TECHNOLOGY
The CONTAMINATED DREDGE / SEDIMENT is bombarded with our
specific microwave frequency in the form of “molecular
vibrations” which causes the “cracking” of the hydrocarbon
chain. As a result, the hydrocarbon components in the
CONTAMINATED DREDGE / SEDIMENT are gasified. The NATURAL GAS
is then collected – the remaining gases are converted into
OIL. What remains is non toxic material that can be cleanly
disposed of or used as fill dirt for construction projects
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The GRC Energy Recovery Technology operates in a vacuum. THE
RESULT - nothing is released into the environment.
